Quantity for Order
For new business relationships, we strongly recommend that buyers begin with a small trial order before committing to larger volumes or long-term contracts. A trial shipment allows both parties to verify product quality, packaging specifications, documentation accuracy, logistics performance, customs clearance procedures, and overall operational efficiency under real trading conditions. This approach minimizes commercial risk and ensures that expectations are aligned from the outset.
Once the trial order has been successfully completed and both parties have established confidence in each other's reliability, procedures, and payment performance, it becomes much easier to increase volumes progressively. This phased approach helps build trust, strengthens the business relationship, and creates a solid foundation for long-term contracts, larger allocations, preferential pricing, and priority production scheduling, ultimately benefiting both buyer and seller.

20ft and 40ft Dry Containers
Sometimes referred to as dry storage containers, standard containers, or general-purpose containers, there are three main types of dry cargo containers:
-
20ft – which are smaller and easier to handle.
-
40ft- which has double the capacity of a 20ft container.
-
40ft HC – which is the same length as 40ft but has more capacity due to additional height.
While there might be slight differences in these containers depending on the manufacturer, at MSC our standard dry cargo containers are specified in the following way:

These containers are standardised by ISO as suitable for multiple transportation methods including truck, rail, or ship and are used to transport a variety of commodities such as automotive, agricultural, and retail products as well as grains and construction materials that do not need refrigeration.
The standard stipulated quantity for merchandise for container orders and small quantity:
CONTAINER 20 FEET - Dimensions:
Internal: 5,900 m long X 2,350 m wide X 2,393 m high, with a cubic capacity of 33.2 m.
External: 6,058m long X 2,438m wide X 2,591 m high and maximum capacity of 24,000 kg.
CONTAINER 40 FEET - Dimensions:

Vessel Shipments
Sugar vessel shipments are designed for large-volume international trade, typically ranging from 12,500 MT to 300,000 MT or more per shipment. The sugar is loaded at the export port, inspected for quality and quantity, and transported via bulk cargo vessel to the destination port under agreed shipping terms. Vessel shipments offer a more cost-effective freight solution compared to containerized cargo, making them ideal for long-term supply contracts, government tenders, refineries, and high-volume import programs. Standard export documentation, marine insurance, and cargo tracking are provided throughout the shipping process to ensure a smooth and secure delivery.
